What are the symptoms?
Symptoms usually begin about one week after eating or drinking something contaminated and may include:
- Frequent watery diarrhea
- Loss of appetite
- Weight loss
- Stomach cramps and bloating
- Nausea
- Fatigue
- Low-grade fever
- Increased gas
Some people don’t have symptoms at all but can still be infected.
