LOVES PARK — A 55-year fundraising tradition kicked off its two-day run on Friday with thousands of brats, hot dogs and meatless barbecue sandwiches set to be served.
Alpine Kiwanis Brat Days is the nonprofit Alpine Kiwanis Club’s largest fundraiser. It has raised more than $2.5 million for charities and college scholarships since its founding in 1971.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and 11 am. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the CherryVale Mall in Cherry Valley and Blain’s Farm & Fleet in Loves Park…
