(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Photos of pets found as strays near the Aspen Acres Fire are being shared by the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region, in hopes the community can help reunite them with their families.
HSPPR posted on Thursday about the pets found near the fire zone. “Please help us share these pets far and wide to hopefully find their owners,” HSPPR said on Facebook.
All of the pets are currently being housed at the Pueblo shelter, located at 4600 Eagleridge Place, except the cats seen below, which are receiving medical treatment in Colorado Springs:
The five-day stray hold does not apply to these pets, and HSPPR asks owners who recognize their pets to contact the shelter as soon as possible…
