SANDY, Utah (ABC4) — Fire crews are responding to a grass fire near 10600 S on Friday afternoon.
According to Sandy Mayor Monica Zoltanksi, a fire started burning in Dimple Dell Park, leading to road closures between Sego Lily and 10600 South on 1300 E. The Sandy Fire Department confirmed it burned around two acres.
Christ Aston, Sandy Fire Deputy Chief, added, “It’s always dry in July in Utah dimple Dell we see there’s a lot of rye grass sheet grass. A lot of fuel, but this year the conditions are exceptionally dangerous.”…
