A 31-year-old man was shot multiple times near an NYPD Strategic Response Group facility in the Bronx on Sunday, prompting a large police investigation as detectives searched for two suspects who fled the area on foot.
The shooting occurred in the Highbridge neighborhood along Sedgwick Avenue, where officers quickly responded after reports of gunfire. Although the victim was found outside a police facility, investigators believe the shooting itself happened a short distance away.

According to police, officers responded to the area of 1278 Sedgwick Avenue, the location of an NYPD Strategic Response Group and Task Force facility, where they discovered a 31-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
