Nicole Cisne Durbin named CEO of Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois

Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois has a new Chief Executive Officer.

Nicole Cisne Durbin has been announced as its next Chief Executive Officer. Cisne Durbin officially joins on September 8 and brings over 20 years of leadership experience focused on youth development, community engagement and strengthening organizations that serve children and families. The announcement follows a comprehensive search led by the Board of Directors to identify a leader who embodies the organization’s mission and is prepared to guide Girl Scouts into its next chapter of growth and impact.

“As we looked to the future, we sought a leader with a demonstrated commitment to community, a passion for developing future leaders, and a proven ability to build strong, mission-driven organizations,” said Tracy Schwind, Board Chair of Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois. “Nicole’s experience, leadership style, and dedication to serving others made her the clear choice. We are excited to welcome her to the Girl Scout movement.”

Cisne Durbin is currently CEO of Family Resources, where she led strategic growth initiatives, strengthened financial sustainability, expanded community partnerships and advocated for innovative programs serving youth and families throughout the region.
