POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A 34-year-old Winter Haven woman faces felony drug and misdemeanor charges after leading a deputy on a short foot chase outside a Wahneta convenience store late Tuesday night.
Around 10 p.m. on July 28, 2026, a Polk County Sheriff’s deputy noticed Chelsie Albritton loitering in front of the Citgo Food Mart at 3074 Rifle Range Road.
As the deputy approached to speak with her, Albritton reportedly stated, “Don’t take me to jail, I’m trespassed from here,” and began walking away…
