LINN COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG) – Camp Tanager celebrated its 100th anniversary Saturday, welcoming alumni back to the grounds where many of them spent summers as children.
Founded in 1926, Camp Tanager offers free day and overnight camps for Eastern Iowa children during the summer. About 700 kids attend overnight camp there each year.
