Some of you will remember Mark McGrath only for the ugly slurs that ended his tenure on the Troy City Council. That’s understandable.
There is, after all, no way to sugarcoat or justify the words, including the n-word, that he was recorded uttering on a short phone message leaked in 2019. McGrath seemed to understand that. He seemed to know the stain on his reputation would stick.
