A Mechanicville resident became the New York Air National Guard’s top noncommissioned officer during a ceremony at New York National Guard Headquarters in Latham.
Command Chief Master Sgt. Lynette Tangredi now serves as the key adviser to New York Air National Guard commander Maj. Gen. Gary Charlton II. She advises him on matters regarding the morale, training, health and professional development of the state’s 4,876 enlisted airmen.
