WATERFORD, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Behind every jar of Pixie’s Preserves is fresh ingredients, no additives and a pinch of magic. Michelle Petuske first learned to make artisan jams when she was a little girl helping her mom make elderberry jelly.
After a few different career endeavors, Petuske transformed her childhood love into a business. She debuted the jams in her 3rd generation family-owned produce stand. It’s a popular spot for locally-sourced fruits, vegetables, and homemade baked goods.

From apple crisp to hot pepper jelly, the varieties range from sweet to a twist on the traditional. Pixie’s Preserves is available in more than 20 retail locations and now the Applebee’s menu.
For a limited time, Petuske’s blueberry jam is being used for a celebrity endorsed cocktail called “What’s Your Jam.” It is only available at select Applebee’s franchisee locations (Doherty Enterprises) in New York and New Jersey through early September…
