For three weekends in August, attendees can visit the farm’s fields of golden sunflowers and colorful zinnias. On August 15, 22 and 29, the festival will take place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Liberty Ridge Farm says there are only a handful of weekends each year when the sunflowers are in peak bloom, so guests are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity. The festival was originally scheduled to begin August 8, but recent heavy rainfall delayed the start of the festival, as the flower fields needed more time to bloom.
