GUILDERLAND — The school board here sounded enthused on Aug. 11 about starting a Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps.
Chief Master Sergeant Denny Richardson, who leads the JROTC program at Schenectady High School, repeated many times during his presentation to the school board that the program does not recruit students to serve in the military
