LAUREL, Md. (DC News Now) — The Laurel Police Department (LPD) is considering partnering with Axon to install cameras that will be able to livestream and read license plates.
LPD said that it will be installing a camera near northbound U.S. Route 1 and Maryland Route 198 for a 60-day demonstration. Police said that they planned for the camera to go live on Monday.
