PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A woman was killed during a crash involving a fleeing suspect in Bowie on Wednesday.
According to the Prince George’s County Fire Department (PGFD), crews were called at 2:43 p.m. to reports of a multi-vehicle crash with power lines down in the 12800 block of 9th St.

An initial investigation found that a marked Prince George’s Police Department (PGPD) cruiser attempted to pull over a driver involved in an open investigation. The driver initially stopped but sped off seconds later onto Lanham Severn Road.
Police said officers were radioed to stop any attempts to chase the suspect, and nearly one-half mile from the traffic stop, the suspect crossed the double yellow lines and struck two vehicles…
