Rockford, Illinois, is getting a new dessert destination called Melt n Dip soon, and as someone with a ridiculously serious sweet tooth, I can’t wait to try it.

There are only a handful of things in this world I love more than chocolate, so when I heard a new dessert lounge called Melt n Dip is coming to Rockford, my first thought was basically, “Please tell me this is real.”

Melt n Dip is coming to 575 S. Perryville Road in Rockford, (in the former Pizza Hut location) and after looking at what this place serves, I’m pretty sure my sweet tooth has already decided it’s in love.

Basically, Melt n Dip is a dessert lounge that is built around one of my favorite food groups: chocolate. Specifically, Melt n Dip specializes in treats made with 100% Belgian chocolate, but it also serves Italian gelato, crepes, waffles, cakes, cookies, fruit desserts and many other drool-worthy sweet treats…
