Rockford region’s home sale prices top record high for third-straight month

ROCKFORD — Home sale prices in the region topped record highs for the third consecutive month in July, continuing a surge that has seen new price highs in 14 of the past 27 months.

The three-month rolling-average price of a home sold in Boone, Winnebago and Ogle counties was $257,447 in July, according to the latest data from the NorthWest Illinois Alliance of Realtors. That’s up 11% from July 2025, and it tops the record high of $250,809 in June.
