COTTON PLANT, Ark. (KAIT) – Arkansas State Police are investigating a shooting that left two people injured in Cotton Plant.
On Monday, Aug. 21, law enforcement officers arrived at a home on Conley Drive and located Elana Martin, 19, of Little Rock, at the front door, suffering from a gunshot wound to her thigh. Martin was transported by ambulance to Unity Health in Searcy.
At a separate home on Conley Drive, officers located Zephaniah Wheeler, 20, of Horn Lake, Mississippi, who sustained gunshot wounds to his chest and arm. Wheeler was airlifted to UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock, where he was listed in stable condition following surgery…
