September feels like Miami downed a whole case of Monster Energy because this month’s live music offerings are supersized. So many shows are making their way down to the tip of the Florida peninsula that, for the first time, New Times actually had to cut down its choices — lest we write a 10,000-word guide.
Don’t fret, though. We’ve included those shows we still loved but had to cut at the end as sort of “honorable mentions.” However, here’s hoping your bank account is healthy, because you’ll have plenty of options this month.
Rosalía will finally make up for the two shows she was forced to cancel back in June and bring her operatic vision to the Kaseya Center. Bruno Mars promises a night of romance when she performs back-to-back shows at Hard Rock Stadium. And hardcore band Turnstile takes the stage at the very apropos venue Factory Town.
