The trial of a man accused of killing his grandfather with a hatchet in a home in Shreveport’s Highland neighborhood began Tuesday in Caddo District Court.
Dalton Robinson, now 28, was charged with the January 2023 second-degree murder of his grandfather, Sydney Robinson, 77. Caddo prosecutor Senae Hall opened the trial promising to present to the jury “the horror that hit Washington Street.”
