UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (7News) — A Prince George’s County jury convicted a Washington, D.C. man Wednesday of second-degree murder in the 2024 shooting death of community activist and youth mental health advocate Cornelius Neal McDonald.
Terrelle Bailey, 37, was also found guilty of using a firearm in the commission of a felony, Prince George’s County State’s Attorney Tara H. Jackson announced during an afternoon news conference at the Upper Marlboro courthouse.
McDonald, 33, was fatally shot at Jasper’s Restaurant in Largo in November 2024. He had become an advocate against gun violence after losing his brother to it and founded Stay Solid Youth Mental Health, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting young people’s mental health…
