A summer grand-opening campaign at Cowboy Chicken in Plano turned into a $2,000 contribution supporting military members, veterans, first responders and their families.
The Plano restaurant presented the donation to Carry The Load in recognition of the National Day of Service and Remembrance. The contribution grew from proceeds generated during the restaurant’s Carry The Load weekend earlier this summer, with Cowboy Chicken adding additional funds to bring the donation to $2,000.
The campaign was launched as part of the restaurant’s July grand-opening celebration.
