The severe weather on Friday in Mansfield caused quite the scare for one driver. A utility pole went down, narrowly missing Eric Jones’ truck as he was driving.
Jones was looking to get out of the hail when the powerline jolted an electric shock through part of his truck while he was inside.
“I saw blue, and I was making sure I was still here,” Jones said. “Definitely a lot of emotions. My wife, I called her first. That was my first phone call. Just, hey, this is crazy- what just happened?”…
