Shreveport Police officers continue doing a fabulous job taking firearms out of the hands of those prohibited from possessing them.
Last week, SPD Officers conducted a traffic stop on Lonell Wright for improper lane usage. During the stop, Wright was found to be in possession of a firearm.
Wright is a convicted felon stemming from a 2022 aggravated assault with a deadly weapon case in Bossier Parish and is prohibited from possessing firearms. He was also awaiting trial in connection with a domestic abuse battery case and three simple battery cases…
