The Virginia Board of Veterinary Medicine dismissed its case against Dr. Les Sekut, a Newport News veterinarian who was facing multiple allegations of patient mistreatment.
13News Now previously reported that Sekut faced suspension and potentially license loss after more than 30 allegations of patient mistreatment were formally filed with the Virginia Board of Veterinary Medicine. But on Friday, the Board told 13News Now that a hearing held the day before led to the case against him being dismissed.
