An investigation is underway after a boat was found engulfed in flames in Huntington Beach.
Huntington Beach Fire Department crews were called to the 16000 block of Cotuit Circle in Huntington Harbour on Wednesday afternoon.
Heavy smoke and flames were seen coming from a boat that was docked in a residential slip.
“Firefighters quickly deployed hose lines and extinguished the fire, preventing further spread to nearby boats and structures,” fire officials said. “Following extinguishment, HBFD’s Hazardous Materials Team responded and placed absorbent booms in the water as a precaution to help contain any potential fuel, fluids, or other runoff from the damaged vessel.”…
