LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Holt Public Schools Superintendent Hal Heard III is reminding drivers to drive carefully in school zones after a car hit a high school student Wednesday morning.
The student was hit at around 7 a.m. at Holt High School shortly before the start of the school day, Heard said. The student had no visible injuries but was taken to the doctor as a precaution.
“We’d like to take this opportunity to highlight the importance of safe driving in school zones, as well as paying close attention to cross walks in these areas.
