MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — As construction for the Purple Line continues, five Ride On buses in Silver Spring will begin detours starting Oct. 5.
The Montgomery County Department of Transportation noted that the intersection at Wayne Avenue and Fentron Street will close overnight, impacting bus routes 15, 16, 17, 20 and 28. The closures will begin at 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. the next day, every day.
Officials said construction is expected to be completed in this area on Oct. 15.
