Rockford teen robbed at gunpoint by former classmate, police say

ROCKFORD, Ill (WTVO) — Rockford Police say a girl was robbed by a former classmate while walking home from hanging out with friends.

According to the criminal complaint, on January 14, around 8:59 p.m the victim was walking in the 400 block of Oakley Avenue when two individuals approached her. One of them placed a gun against her temple and demanded her cell phone and earbuds.
