Tree crashes into Henrietta home amid strong winds

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A Henrietta homeowner is safe after a large pine tree came crashing into her house Monday afternoon, just moments after she stepped out of the room it hit.

The close call happened off West Henrietta Road, where Henrietta Fire District says strong winds snapped the tree and sent it into the home.

No one was hurt, but the impact left visible damage.

It wasn’t the only issue crews dealt with. Fire officials say gusty conditions brought down multiple trees across the area throughout the day, creating a messy and potentially dangerous situation for homeowners…
