Man stabbed at convenience store in Fairport

Fairport, N.Y. — An unidentified suspect is charged with second-degree assault in connection to a stabbing Sunday night, according to Sgt. Connor Cantwell of the Fairport Police Department.

Officers responded around 6 p.m. to the convenience store at 154 N. Main Street in Fairport for a “cause unknown,” Cantwell said. The victim, a man in his 30s, was found with several stab wounds to the upper body. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment and has since been released.
