After appearances on Food Network’s Chopped and Guy’s Grocery Games, San Antonio chef-restauranteur Braunda Smith recently landed a spot on the another of the cable channel’s cooking competitions, BBQ Brawl, according to the San Antonio report.
Smith, the founder of Lucy Cooper’s Ice House, battled 11 other pitmasters at Star Hill Ranch in Austin for the show’s seventh season, the news outlet reports. On the show, three teams — each headed by a celebrity chef — go head-to-head against each other in a succession of live-fire cooking challenges.
