(FOX40.COM) — One person was killed and another injured after a tunnel collapse at a construction site on Tuesday afternoon near the community of Knights Ferry, according to the Modesto Fire Department.
Modesto fire officials said in a press release that crews responded around 3:42 p.m. to a reported rescue at a tunneling project near Schell and Sonora roads.
