One month after a Bexar County grand jury rejected murder charges in a deadly noise complaint dispute, the victim’s family and friends are gathering to “Fiesta for Fatso.”
Family members of Edward “Fatso” Trejo, 29, are planning to “Fiesta for a cause” from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at El Camino Food Truck Park & Bar at 1009 Avenue B. The event was postponed from Monday due to heavy storms that prompted a flash flood warning.
Attendees will receive free aguas frescas, raspas and corn in a cup during the event. Shirts and stickers will also be available for supporters, who are encouraged to sign a petition urging prosecutors to bring renewed charges in the deadly shooting…
