Omurice Ramen Offers A Flavorful Twist On Traditional Ramen In Battle Creek

After finally trying Battle Creek’s newest ramen restaurant, Omurice Ramen,  I don’t think I’ll ever eat pre-packaged Ramen noodles ever again.

Omurice Ramen announced in 2025 that they would be opening up at 5420 Beckley Rd. in Battle Creek, and for months, people were begging to know when they would finally be open.

Then they announced that they would finally be opening up their restaurant on January 1, 2026, and since then, they’ve had a strong reputation grow within the community as being one of the more unique places to eat.

I kept hearing about this place, so I had to check it out for myself in person. I can definitely say that after trying it, I don’t think I’ll ever eat prepackaged ramen ever again, and I don’t think you will either.

I ended up getting a brown sugar milk tea to start my meal off, and it was one of the sweetest milk teas I’ve ever had.

For dinner, I ordered the Karaage Chicken, which is crispy Japanese fried chicken served over savory chicken broth and topped with a marinated, soft, boiled egg, fish cake, Nori, sweet corn, wood ear mushrooms, fresh green onion, and bamboo shoot…
