SAN ANTONIO – A doctor who was shot on Wednesday morning while walking his dog has been identified as 30-year-old Jonathan Desposorio.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, Desposorio, a physician affiliated with UT Health San Antonio, was shot near the intersection of Euclid and Evergreen, just steps away from where he both lived and worked. Records indicate he resides at an apartment on North St. Mary’s Street, directly across from the UT Health Science Center, where the shooting occurred.
Desposorio was found with a gunshot wound in the early morning hours. He was transported to Brooke Army Medical Center, where he remains hospitalized in critical condition…
