BURRILLVILLE, R.I. (WPRI) — The high-profile lawsuit filed in an attempt to block the sale of “The Conjuring” house to “Ghost Hunters” TV star Jason Hawes has been dismissed, 12 News has learned.
The lawsuit was filed late last year by the older sister of Jacqueline Nuñez, who currently owns the Burrillville farmhouse.
Elizabeth Greenhalgh, of Utah, argued Nuñez was “legally incompetent and not of sound mind” when she signed over the rights to Hawes’ associate, Julia Demay, to sell the Round Top Road home for at least $1.3 million.

Greenhalgh accused Hawes of conspiring with Demay and leading a “concerted effort to acquire the property,” despite knowing Nuñez was unwell…
