Victor High School student’s organ donation saves four lives after tragic death

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — More than 8,000 people in New York State are on the waiting list for an organ transplant.

At Strong Hospital, a digital display honors those who have donated organs to help save others. Last year alone, about 250 people donated life here in Rochester.

One of those donors was 17-year-old Talon Gracioso, who was a student at Victor High School.  “He was just a big bold personality, outgoing, friendly, involved in so many things. Football, track and field, marching band where he played the tuba because when you have a big personality you need a big instrument,” his mother, Crystal Carr tells News10NBC…
