Not a one-off: More Coloradans stopped by police after data errors triggered Flock alerts

BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. — If you’ve got an O or a zero on your Colorado license plate, good luck out there. You might be a suspect and not even know it.

Last week, 9NEWS shared the story of Kyle Dausman, a driver who kept getting pulled over after Flock cameras alerted police that a driver with a warrant was in the area. He didn’t have a warrant, but his plate was wrongly entered into a hotlist database used by Flock cameras. But he couldn’t get off the list. We thought his story was unique.
