Columbus little league treasurer arrested after theft investigation

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Columbus police arrested the Pioneer Little League treasurer on Monday in connection with a theft investigation.

The Columbus Police Department’s Property Crimes Unit received a report in March 2026 alleging that the league’s treasurer, 35-year-old Craig Norris, had been using the organization’s bank card for personal purchases.

According to CPD, the investigation revealed that over 1000 charges were made, resulting in a total of $79,609.80.

Officials obtained arrest warrants for Norris on Monday. Members of the Property Crimes Unit located him at his residence and took him into custody without incident…
