PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — More than two years after a young mother was gunned down in Southeast Portland, her family came face-to-face with the man responsible — ending in a guilty plea, a 22-year prison sentence and a moment of forgiveness that stunned the courtroom.
On Monday, William Watson pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter, felon in possession of a firearm and attempted first-degree assault with a firearm in connection with the 2023 shooting death of 26-year-old Cali Bolden.
