ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Metro Atlanta and north Georgia are bracing for a strong system expected to bring showers, thunderstorms and possibly even tornadoes on Wednesday evening into Thursday morning.
Most of north Georgia is currently under a Level 2, or slight, risk for severe weather. Damaging winds that could knock down trees and power lines, as well as large hail that could damage vehicles and property, are also possible.
