An evil stepmom has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after she brutally tortured her 12-year-old stepson to death in an attempt to “discipline” him.
Kapri Cheatom, 31, pleaded guilty to injury to a child causing serious bodily injury. In February 2022, 12-year-old Danilo Coles was discovered by police on the floor in cardiac arrest by police in the family’s San Antonio home, the San Antonio Express-News reported.
Initially his father, 45-year-old Derrick Coles, told police the pre-teen fell in the shower, but the Bexar County Medical Examiner ruled that Danilo’s cause of death was actually rhabdomyolysis, a life-threatening syndrome caused by rapid skeletal muscle breakdown, releasing toxic cell contents (like myoglobin) into the bloodstream…
