Little Rock grandmother of 3-year-old gun violence victim reflects on incident, has advice for mother walking same painful path

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – It’s been nearly a decade since 3-year-old Acen King was shot and killed in a road rage incident in Little Rock.

Acen’s grandmother, Kim Macon, says losing a loved one at such a young age causes a pain that never truly goes away.

“It’s one of the worst feelings that you can feel. You begin with PTSD, that’s something you never get out of your head, ever. I see this just walking, you know, doing anything, I still see Acen’s face,” said Macon.
