FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Police blocked off an entrance to a southwest Fort Wayne neighborhood Thursday morning when there was difficulty serving a warrant.
Scott Road was blocked off at the intersection with White Cedar Road in the Westchester Ridge neighborhood starting sometime before 9:45 a.m. Access to the addition was limited. The Allen County Sheriff’s Department was at the scene, which cleared shortly before 11 a.m.
Sgt. Ken Litzenberg said the department was attempting to serve a warrant at a home and the SWAT team came to help. Gas was used in the house, and firefighters responded to help blow the gas outside…
