A 49-year-old Marion County woman was arrested on domestic battery charges after allegedly stabbing her daughter with a fork and striking her in the face with a phone charger during separate incidents.
On Saturday, May 9, a Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a Dunnellon residence in reference to a verbal altercation. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the female victim, who advised that her mother, Mary La Shawna, had “stabb(ed) her on her right bicep” and “struck her between her eyes with a phone cord,” according to the arrest report.
The victim reportedly couldn’t remember the date that both incidents occurred, though she stated that it was within the last few weeks…
