Woman testifies against proposed Zion Grove water plant before Harrisburg regulators

HARRISBURG – At least one person travelled to Harrisburg to oppose the planned KH Holdings water extraction plant at Thursday’s hearing before the Susquehanna River Basin Commission.

The plant in Zion Grove, if approved, would consume up to 75,000 gallons of water per day from the local aquifer, according to the application filed on August 1.

It is proposed for the former Kuzma property off Catawissa Creek Road near Labenberg Road…
