A Johnson County sheriff’s deputy has been charged with rape after he was arrested by the Overland Park Police Department last week, online court records show.
Justin Patrick Ramirez, 44, of Spring Hill, was charged Friday with rape, or sexual intercourse with a physically powerless victim, in Johnson County District Court.
Few details about the accusation were available on Wednesday. According to the complaint filed in support of charges, the alleged rape occurred on Aug. 3.
