Builders FirstSource, Irving, Tx., has acquired family-owned Gleckler and Sons Construction and Gleckler & Sons Building Supplies, with 11 locations serving home builder customers in central, northeast and western Florida.
Founded in 2016 by Kip Gleckler as a truss plant in Jacksonville, the chain grew rapidly through strategic purchases, including Truss Systems in Bunnell (2020), Accu-Span Truss (2021), Buck Lumber & Supply in Orlando (2022), LLT’s Building Supplies (2024), Raymond Building Supply, and a new 60,000-sq. ft. facility in Ocala (early 2026).
