Suspect Wanted In Tennessee, Colorado, And Washington Arrested In Florida For Facebook Scam

A multi-state fraud investigation came to a close this month after the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man accused of running a nationwide scheme involving fake checks and high-value online purchases.

David Gene Ford faces charges of grand theft, organized fraud, and writing false checks. He was booked into the Nassau County Jail and Detention Center on August 14, where he remains held on a bond exceeding $90,000.
